The teen advisory board is holding a Valentine’s Dance for teens on Friday, February 12 from 6-8pm.  We hope we’ll get a big turnout.  There will be music, snacks, and the WII will be out for people to play.  The teen tech trainers will be there, helping out.  Hope to see you there!

Hello out there, I’m Tracy, the Teen Tech Team Leader at the Alpena County Library.  We are embarking on a project that we hope will bring more teens to our library, as they realize that it’s really a cool, technologically hip, place to be.  Although I bet teens don’t say “cool” and “hip” anymore.

Luckily we’ve hired four great teenagers who do know how teenagers talk!  Zach, Dusti, Patrick and Bryson.  You can find their blogs under the dashboards tab, and I think they are linked over to the side too.  These guys are busy planning fun activities, interesting tutorials, and filming great stuff that’s happening with teens in Alpena.  We hope you’ll keep checking back to see what’s up with us.  And always check the library’s home page (also linked somewhere here) to see what great activities or speakers are happening here.
